THE KERTZMAN DIFFERENCE

THE KERTZMAN DIFFERENCE 〰️

As an artist, I value projects that feel collaborative, personal, and visually curious.

Below is a breakdown of the services I offer, along with my general process, turnaround times, and creative approach.

PORTRAITS / HEADSHOTS

Portraits centered on presence, atmosphere, and personality rather than overly staged presentation.

Includes actor and artist headshots, environmental portraits, editorial-style portraiture, and collaborative creative direction.

Edited galleries are typically delivered within 14 days unless otherwise discussed before the shoot.

EDITORIAL / FASHION

Narrative-driven imagery shaped through styling, texture, movement, and visual atmosphere.

Includes editorial shoots, fashion and lookbook work, conceptual imagery, and branded campaigns or creative collaborations. Turnaround varies depending on scope, scale, and post-production requirements.

ON SET STILLS (FILM/TV)

Observational documentation of film sets, productions, and the creative process.

Includes behind-the-scenes photography, production stills, set environments, crew documentation, and process-focused imagery. Turnaround is dependent on production schedule and specific deliverable needs.

EVENT/LIVE ENVIRONMENT

Documentation focused on energy, movement, and the emotional rhythm of a space.

Includes live performances, nightlife, and social events, creative gatherings, and candid event coverage. Preview selections may be delivered early, with full edited galleries delivered within 14 days.

PRO GRATIS

Photography focused on people, place, and lived experience, rather than commercial output.

Includes not-for-profit and volunteer-based work, community and grassroots documentation, long-form observational storytelling, humanitarian or socially engaged projects, and work rooted in curiosity and care.

PROJECTS THAT I WILL NOT TAKE ON

I’m selective with the work I take on, focusing on projects that allow for collaboration, intention, and time for proper execution.

That said, I’m always open to the right opportunities when the budget and scope align.

  • Multi‑photographer shoots unless agreed on beforehand

  • Unpaid music videos (music videos as a whole, really tbh)

  • Basic headshots without creative direction

  • AI‑led productions where it replaces the creative process

  • Same‑day or rushed turnaround work

  • Paid workshops or courses that teach skills better learned through practice

  • Projects without a clear scope or creative direction
